Notes to complete for the next session

The evidence points to you making better progress if you undertake work between each session, and this may involve reflecting on the last session. Completing the following form will help.

  1. What do you most remember of the last session?
  2. Did you learn anything about your thoughts, your feelings, your physical reactions, the things you do or don’t do because of your thoughts and feelings?
  3. What did you learn as a result of completing any “between session work”? Write a little about why you may not have been able to complete any work.
  4. Do you feel more hopeful or less hopeful as a result of the last session and why is this? Has it motivated you to continue with therapy?
