Making Cognitive Behavioural Therapy affordable and available

These pages may help you decide, prepare and make best use of therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for your moods and anxiety.

They are collated by myself, Steve Lyon. I work within the NHS providing CBT and other interventions with children and adolescents.

I am a fully accredited (BABCP) cognitive behavioural therapist, and accredited with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). I am fully insured and have a current DBS enhanced check. I am listed on NHS Choices and the BABCP website as a qualified practitioner.

I am committed to making CBT available, affordable, and effective.

I provide clinical supervision for practitioners working within the NHS or working within charities.

I am particularly experienced in working with people with depression and other mood difficulties and offer therapy within West Yorkshire and North Manchester where my therapy room is a 5 minute walk from the Manchester Metro.
